The Hilo Art Museum maintains its dedication to education on a number of different levels.

Our "Teaching Collection" is made up of several life-sized reproductions of various master works. Generously donated by MasterClass Art of Australia, this collection is the basis of our Mobile Museum project designed to travel to area schools and bring art to the younger generation.

The museum also offers lessons in a number of artistic areas, and to people from 8 to 108, no matter the student's experience level. From painting like the masters to life drawing, print making to songwriting, the museum's "smART Education Center" offers something for everyone.
