Giving

There are many ways to give to the Hilo Art Museum. Your donations support the museum's efforts to bring art, aesthetics and art education to the East Hawaii community, and to its many visitors. Your support gives Hawaii's youth a resource to learn a form of artistic culture never before available to them.

Planned Giving
Planned giving allows you to provide for the museum's future as part of your future plans when leaving a will. Your generosity will ensure that the museum may continue to provide art and services to the community for all time. Click here for more information on Planned Giving.

Donations
Your donations each year support the bulk of the museum's operating expenses not covered through membership, admissions and other services. We depend on the generosity of the museum's businesses and individuals to continue this important cultural asset.

Building Fund
Before the HAM has even opened its doors our permanent art collection has grown to the point where we need a permanent exhibit center. We are accepting donations now specifically for the purchase of land and a building in Hilo for the purpose of building an architecturally beautiful, eco-sensitive, and climate controlled building for the display of our valuable art collection.

Membership
Your membership in the museum establishes your support for the arts and the museum's efforts to maintain a world class art collection and art education program.

Volunteer
By volunteering you ensure that the museum can operate with the lowest possible overhead. Keeping our costs down ensures that we can provide the maximum amount of access to our community members. Our goal is to provide free access to all residents of the island of Hawaii. Please help make this possible.
